Tainted Palette
Black thoughts stain
Like ink
On the silk of the soul
Rinse
Soak
Spin
Wring
Laundered by the Light
Fade
Infuse with Pain
Remain.

Hi Colleen. like the notion of the line “the silk of the soul” and the black ink stains…reminds me of Coal Man’s post about the psych inkblot tests. The image and words work strongly to reinforce each other.

A Rorsach poem with such meaningful concepts is so few words. This will sound so trite, but it’s beautiful, beautiful.

How lovely of you to comment on my little poem. I find it particularly scary sharing my poetry…I’m not sure why…maybe a lack of confidence…maybe I’m just a harsh judge on myself, so such comments always surprise and delight !

Thanks Bliss. I’m still enthralled by your “financial adventure” term. I Love it. I was driving to the supermarket this afternoon saying to myself…” I do not have financial stress…I am simply on a financial adventure at this point in my life.” So thank you…it eases the fury.
