My Hopes, Memories and Dreams

Beginnings

A slate wiped clean

Like crisp white cotton

Beckons the Now

To rest upon its’ welcoming folds

A virginal awakening

Giving birth to realisation

Such liberation to behold

In escapement of the soul

    • Hi Cindy. Yes, although it’s a challenge at times to leave the past and future where they belong, to focus upon the “now” is an exciting way to live. Thanks for your visit.

  6. I would love to lay my head on a pillow at the couch you described. Sounds like heaven.

No, it’s Australia, a beautiful land where dreams can come true despite such a crazy childhood.

    • Hello ! Your comment warmed my heart ! So touching, thank you. I am sooo overawed by the fact that sharing my innermost thoughts, hopes and reality can have a soothing effect upon others. I love this modern day forum for reaching out across the world and bridging the gaps within our humanity that sometimes seem too cavernous to cross. You are welcome here any time !

  7. Miss,
Your poetry is so alluring, not for the content or grammar or syntax only . . . but simply because of its raw honesty.
